1970s Modsport 3000cc class overview

The second biggest capacity class ( 2001 to 3000cc ) was originally the domain of the `big` Healeys until the TVR Tuscan took over and as the decade worn on Porsche and Marcos were the class winners. For 1976 the class was swelled by cars over 3000cc too as all cars over 2000cc were put together. 6 major national championships were won outright by cars from this class
